About Us

Surveys and Polls

Clicking on Manage Campaigns --> Surveys/Polls will take you to the first step in creating or editing surveys. If you have already created a survey, you can select it from the dropdown menu in Option B. Otherwise, to create a survey, enter a name for it in the window in Option A.

Creating a New Survey
The next step after choosing to create a survey will be to decide whether to write some new questions, or copy some questions from an existing survey you've already created. Writing new questions for your survey utilizes the same basic interface as writing custom questions for your registration page.

Editing an Existing Survey
The editing process is basically the same as the create-a-new-survey process: you go through the same steps, but there's some information there for you to either edit, delete, or leave alone.
*** If you are editing an existing registration page, see "Caution" section at the bottom of the page.

Using a Survey
At the end of both the Create and Edit Survey processes, you will arrive at the "Your Survey is Now Complete" page. You will find a link near the bottom of the page that will take readers or website visitors to a webpage with your survey, hosted on our servers. Also on this page is an 'Edit Survey' link that brings up the full HTML code for your survey for editing or cutting-and-pasting into an email or onto a webpage.

* * * CAUTION * * *

If you are hosting your survey on your own server, or in an email template and you come back and edit your questions on Internet Mail Manager:
  • Do not edit any of the code in the <FORM> or <INPUT> tags, or your readers' responses may not be saved correctly.
  • If you edit any of your survey questions or settings on Internet Mail Manager, you must replace the code on your server or email with the new code the system creates for you. If you edit your questions without updating the original version you're hosting, readers' responses will not be saved properly.

To see the responses to your survey, check out the reports.

Helpful Hint !
The easiest way to add, group, and regroup subscribers is to use the import feature. You can import files of data or paste from Word or Excel. Internet Mail Manager will take care of the duplicates within and between groups, no need to worry. You really can't go wring with the import feature.
